In the 15th century, it is said, that the Riesling grape was born from the combination of a native German, the Heunisch, with a grape species imported by the Romans, the Traminer. This is but part of the allegory behind the idea of "envisioning a brighter future;" the entire providence of the fine wine, as well as the innumerable uses of the fruit, not least, to provide pleasure and inspiration.
